A bit of our history:
Our church was built in about 1970, in Renton, and twenty years later it was bought by Ukrainian community, and renamed to First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. Now it is made up out of more than 430members. Majority of Ukrainian people in this church come from Lviv; some come from Ternopil, many from Lviv and Ternopil oblast’.
Many people that go to our church migrated from Ukraine because of religious persecutions during Soviet Union communistic rule. Our pastor is Balduk Gregory. He came to USA in 1990 on December 21, and became our pastor in the year of 2000. Our pastors are also Andrew Semenyk and Fedor Kozak .
Our youth:
Our youth consists of around 100 people. There are many ways our youth participates in church events. We have youth choir, Tuesday gatherings, community visiting, event participations such as holiday event organization, and etc. We celebrate New Years, Thanksgiving, and Christmas together. We go caroling, snowboarding, and occasionally out to play volleyball in the park. Our youth leader is Ivan Feltsan and his right hand is Andrew Kozak. Our choir is lead by Lina S, Liliya Kozak, Sveta Kozak, Luda, Dima, and many others.
